Anna Virginia Williams Wilson
Anna Virginia Williams Wilson, age 94, of Coal Center, Pa., died Friday, March 25, 2005, at 12:20 p.m. in Mon Valley Care Center, Monongahela, Pa. She was born September 6, 1910, in Canonsburg, Pa., the daughter of John W. Williams and Emma Perry Williams.
Anna graduated in 1929 from Canonsburg High School.
Mrs. Wilson was employed by Vitte’s Hardware and Gift Shop, Donaldson’s Crossroads, prior to her retirement in 1981.
One of her greatest joys was being able to attend the Adult Day Care at The Center in the Woods in California, Pa.
On April 22, 1940, she married William Arthur Wilson. He died April 20, 1977.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Bess Williams Stewart, and four brothers, Benjamin, Charles, James and Howard Williams.
Surviving are: one son, William A. Wilson II and his wife, Patricia, of Coal Center, Pa., with whom she made her home; one grandson, William A. Wilson III and his wife, Vicky, of Graysville, Pa.; two step grandsons: Samuel Wilson and his wife, Jeannie, of Graysville, Pa., and Mark Faieta and his wife, Cindy, of Mather, Pa.; two great grandsons: Caleb Wilson and Jacob Wilson; and three step great granddaughters: Roxanne Wilson, Angela Wilson and Kacee Caster.
Friends will be received in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Services will be held on Tuesday, March 29, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. John Rankin officiating.
Interment will be held in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg, Pa.
