Watson-Kret
Regina K. Kret of Masontown and Grant l. Watson of Point Marion were united in marriage. The Rev. Joseph L. Sredzinski officiated the ceremony on April 24 at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, Footedale.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Rosanne Kret of Kennedy Avenue, Masontown. She is the granddaughter of Joseph and Mary Ann Cortes of Newboro and the late Ted and Ann Kret of Footedale. She is the great-granddaughter of Josephine Cortes of Cardale.
The bridegroom is the son of Pete and Diane Watson of Walnut Street, Point Marion. He is the grandson of Evelyn Watson and the late Harold Watson and the late Howard and Mildred McClain, all of Point Marion.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a strapless silk satin gown with double box pleated skirt and full cathedral train, accented with crystals and pearls. A crystal and pearl tiara held a cathedral-length veil.
Matron of honor was Rebecca Diwan, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stacia Wright, Michelle Korona, Claudia Sarles and Amanda Keener.
Keith Watson, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Chuck Michael, Matthew Richnavsky, Ryan McClain and Ricky Perrotta. Jacob Martin was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Crystal Ballroom of Lakeside Party Center, Uniontown.
They honeymooned on Oahu and Maui, Hawaii.
The bride and bridegroom are both 1998 graduates from Albert Gallatin High School and 2002 graduates of The Pennsylvania State University with bachelor’s degrees in management science and information systems.
They are both software engineers with TMC Technologies in Fairmont, W.Va.
The bridegroom is pursuing a master’s degree in software engineer at West Virginia University.
They are residing at Downwood Manor Drive, Morgantown, W.Va.
