Connellsville man’s trial begins
The criminal trial for Michael W. Crow began Tuesday in Fayette County Court. Crow, 30, of 333 N. Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, is accused of breaking into the Johnson Avenue home of Amanda and Keith Shrum on Nov. 1, 2003, at 1:30 a.m.
Connellsville police allege Crow took a .17-caliber rifle valued at $300 from their home.
According to court documents, Amanda Shrum was lying on the couch when Crow entered the home, and saw him take the gun.
Crow is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
