John Yenchick, Jr.
John Yenchick, Jr., 78, of Perryopolis, Pa., passed away on Monday, October 31, 2005, at the Cherry Tree Nursing Center, Uniontown, Pa. He was born April 1, 1927, in Rowes Run, Pa., (Redstone Township), the son of the late John and Blanche (Richter) Yenchick.
He was a member of Saint Johns Roman Catholic Church. He was retired from the United States Steel National Tube.
John is survived by three sisters: Priscilla Adams, Alice Dominiak and Bernadine Shenal all of Perryopolis. He is also survived by these nieces and nephews: Pamela Reed of Perryopolis, Ellen Bachmann and husband, Mark and their children, Luke and Rachel, of Eighty-four, Pa, David Wadsworth and wife, Michelle and their two daughters, Emilee and Ashley of Charleroi, Pa., James Martin Wadsworth of Perryopolis, John Reed III of Johnstown, Pa., John Shenal and wife, Lori and their two daughters, Emma and Julia of Perryopolis and Cynthia Wadsworth and husband, Lee of Perryopolis.
John was predeceased by his parents and two nephews, Martin Shenal and James Dominiak.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 106 East Independence Avenue, Perryopolis, Pa., on Wednesday, November 2, 2005, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer Vigil will be held by the Rev. Father John T. Euker at 3 p.m.
Friends may call on Thursday, November 3, 2005, until the time of the Prayer Service at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Saint John’s Roman Catholic Church.
Interment will be in the Saint John’s Roman Catholic Cemetery immediately following.
