Thomas Hardy Jeffreys
Thomas Hardy Jeffreys, 93, of Addison, Pa., died Saturday, October 29, 2005, in Somerset Hospital. He was born September 4, 1912, in Addison, a son of Albert Clarence and Maud Mervin (Hardy) Jeffreys.
His parents, wife, Wilma June (Holliday) Jeffreys, brothers, Paul, Harry, and John and sisters, Pauline Yoder, Mae Turney, and Bessie J. Williams preceded him in death.
He is survived by a son, Rick T. Jeffreys and wife, Mary of Addison, daughter, Janet M. Nolf and husband, Bill of Confluence; grandchildren: Teresa L. Nolf, Kimberly A. Nolf, William R. Nolf II, Ryan T. Jeffreys and Jecelyn M. McClintock; great grandchildren, Sadie Riskus, Calden and Gavin Nolf, Ursa Spear and Jocelyn Jeffreys and a sister Mary Brown Prye of Brookville.
Mr. Jeffreys was a self-employed plumber and electrician. He participated in Addison Apparitions in 2004 and loved reciting poetry, playing the violin and telling great stories. He will always be remembered and greatly missed.
Friends will be received in the HUMBERT FUNERAL HOME, Confluence, Pa., on Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the hour of Service, with the Rev. William Triebe officiating.
Interment will be in Addison Cemetery.
