State police at Waynesburg said the owner of a Kawasaki motorcycle recovered July 8 in Clarksville can claim it by calling the station at 724-627-6151.

Charges filed

Police have filed charges against the following individuals in unrelated incidents:

– Brad C. Morrison, 30, of Ruffsdale, with retail theft after he was allegedly observed pumping $22 in gasoline at the Sheetz Convenience Store Oct. 21 and then fleeing the scene without paying the attendant.

– Gary L. Lewellen, 36, of Uniontown, with public drunkenness following an Oct. 23 incident at Highlands Hospital when he allegedly exposed himself and created a disturbance.

Ongoing investigations

Police are conducting investigations into the following unrelated incidents:

– An Oct. 21 burglary at a Gibson Terrace residence when someone entered an apartment and removed a Dora television and Dora DVD.

– The Oct. 23 theft of a 1996 Ford F-150 truck from an Eliza Street residence. Police said the vehicle was later found in the Anchor Hocking parking lot in South Connellsville.

– An Oct. 23 theft of a Sony PS-2 from a residence located in the 500 block of Johnson Avenue.

– An Oct. 24 criminal mischief when someone smashed two planters at a residence located in the 200 block of Wills Road.

– The Oct. 24 robbery of a man that had accepted a ride from three unknown men driving in the area of Crawford Avenue. Police said the victim reported that the three took his money and then pushed him from the vehicle. One man is described as having red hair and a goatee.

– The Oct. 26 theft of a 2005 blue Chevrolet Cavalier from the driveway of a residence located in the 100 block of Snyder Street. The vehicle was later recovered in a Baldwin Avenue parking lot.

– An Oct. 28 criminal mischief when eggs where thrown at four vehicles parked in the 900 block of Aetna Street.

North Union Twp.

Missing person reported

State police said James William Rhoderick, 20, of Hickory Road, Phillips, was distraught over a personal relationship and told family members that he intended to harm himself at noon Monday. He called his girlfriend and told her that he was in the woods near J.K. Packing and was feeling the affects of a drug overdose, police said.

The West Leisenring and North Union Township volunteer fire departments helped police search for Rhoderick. The state police helicopter was not available, so a Maryland state police helicopter assisted in the search. The search ended at 5:30 p.m. after about three hours when Rhoderick called his girlfriend and told her that he had been picked up and no longer was in the area being searched.

He also said he recovered from the affects of the drugs and did not want to be contacted, police said. Police said the case will remain open until they make direct contact with Rhoderick.

New Stanton

Man arrested

William Uhrinek, 52, of Connellsville was arrested on charges of possession of heroin with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana, possession of prescription of medication and possession of drug paraphernalia after state police in Greensburg said they investigated a complaint about suspicious activity at the Comfort Inn Hotel in New Stanton on Sept. 21.

Home burglary

State police said a Kanawha Avenue residence was broken into and numerous items were stolen between 5:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday. The total loss was $6,205.

The victims were Adam Stuart Christopher, 29, and Ronnie D. Sutton Jr., 37. Police ask anyone with information about the break-in to call the station at 724-439-7111.

DUI arrest

Brian Lee Kutek, 32, of New Salem was charged with driving under the influence after a hit-and-run driver struck his pickup truck at the intersection of Route 40 and Searights Herbert Road at 3:50 a.m. Saturday, state police said.

The unknown hit-and-run-driver was traveling east on Route 40 when he went through a red light and hit Kutek’s truck, which was crossing the intersection, police said. The unknown driver’s vehicle, a green 1994 Dodge Intrepid bearing Pennsylvania registration GFL-1506, then went off the road and hit mailboxes, police said. A short time after the accident, a maroon car picked up the unknown driver and headed east toward Uniontown, police said.

Police ask that anyone with information about the crash to call the station at 724-439-7111.

Checks stolen

City police said Paula Fike of Uniontown reported that 16 of the checks that were stolen from her car on Connellsville Street on Oct. 2 had been cashed. The incident is under investigation.

Man charged

Scott Duygo, 21, of Uniontown was charged with harassment for allegedly pushing Roxanne Childers, 22, of Uniontown and causing her to fall on a couch at 119 Hogsett St. at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, state police said.

Man cited

Randell Fisher, 25, of 121 Danea Lane, Uniontown, was cited with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after he allegedly entered Samantha Stonebreaker’s Lillian Street home and refused to leave at 11:43 p.m. Monday, city police said.

Police reported that he was standing on the sidewalk outside of her home when officers arrived.

Randall Bowser, 50, of 21 Lawn Ave., Uniontown, was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after he allegedly knocked on the door of Tricia Mitchell’s Lawn Avenue home at 4:12 a.m. Tuesday, city police said.

Police reported that he was outside the residence when officers arrived.

City police said the fire department extinguished a small pile of trash that was on fire in an alley behind Lawn Avenue at 4:37 p.m. Monday.

Someone broke dusk-to-dawn lights on residences at Rear 20 and Rear 14 E. Highland Ave. owned by Andrew J. Simko about 5:50 p.m. Monday, city police said.

City police said someone damaged a front fender of a pickup truck owned by Teresa Brandguard at 220 N. Gallatin Ave. The damage was reported at 7:33 p.m. Monday.

City police said someone threw a rock through a window on Jennifer Ohler’s Wayne Street home and smashed a pumpkin sometime Monday.

State police said someone threw an ear of corn that shattered a window on Frank Kizou’s Cecil Drive house between 3 p.m. Sunday and 5 a.m. Monday.

Door damaged

State police said a Fairchance woman damaged a door on the Peach Street home of Louise Ann Morris at 6:10 p.m. Friday.

Hit-and-run accident

Southwest Regional Police said someone drove off of Dally Road and into Thomas Fletcher’s yard at 147 Dally Road in Long Branch Saturday around 2:48 a.m., causing damage to the victim’s yard. Investigation revealed that the driver’s side window of the vehicle was broken out.

Domestic reported

Southwest Regional Police arrested Timothy David Novak, 41, of 507 Third St., Newell, on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment following a domestic disturbance on Friday at 10:59 p.m.

According to police, Novak was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Jesse Cramer and released on $1,000 unsecured bond.

Attempted burglary

State police reported that two men fled the Plant Road home of Frank Greenwood of Bobtown after Greenwood caught them inside the residence on Tuesday at 11:45 a.m.

Man harassed

State police reported that a 20-year-old Masontown woman is suspected of harassing Barry Ware III, 22, of Fairchance.

Police report that the woman allegedly followed Ware in her vehicle for about 45 minutes on Sunday at 6:15 p.m.

Suspected violation

According to state police, a 52-year-old Baltimore, Md., man is suspected of violating a protection from abuse order Saturday at 10:50 a.m. at a residence along Third Street in Lemont Furnace.

Tires slashed

State police reported that someone slashed the tires on a Chevrolet Blazer.

The vehicle was parked along Enamel Street between 10 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Point Marion

Man charged

According to state police, Jason Jaggie, 21, of Point Marion was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness before Magisterial District Judge Ronald Haggerty. He was found intoxicated along Morgantown Street at 8:44 p.m. Monday. Jaggie was placed in the Fayette County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.

Window broken

Doris Hillen of Vanderbilt told state police someone broke the rear window of her vehicle while parked outside Lower Sandy Hollow Road between 4 p.m. Monday and 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Redstone Twp.

Three-car crash

State police said vehicles operated by Danny Richter, 43, of Coal Center, Becky McKay, 37, of Martin and Patricia Broskey, 62, of Keisterville crashed at the intersection of Route 40 and Hatfield Road in Redstone Township Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. McKay, along with four children and a 5-year-old passenger in Broskey’s vehicle, suffered injuries. The six people injured were taken to Uniontown Hospital for treatment.

One-car crash

State police said no one was injured when a vehicle operated by Beth Rioli of Brownsville crashed into a fence and rolled over along Brownsville Road at 8:41 p.m. Tuesday.

South Huntingdon Twp.

Car damaged

Vicki Barcelo of Fayette City reported to state police that someone scratched her vehicle while parked at a residence along Painter Road between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Gun stolen

State police said that someone stole a silver .45-caliber Ruger firearm owned by Allen Bennett, 44, from a residence along Highland Avenue sometime between May 1 and Oct. 17.

Nicholson Twp.

Vehicle stolen

Dora Paugh of Nicholson Township told state police someone known to her stole her vehicle whiel it was parked at a South Street residence between 10 p.m. Saturday and 5:30 a.m. Sunday.
