HOPEWELL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, Brownsville, will hold a soup and sandwich luncheon on Tuesday, Election Day, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Take-out orders will also be available. CALVIN UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, Spring Street, Brownsville, will hold a chicken paprika dinner Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Calvin Hall. Meals are $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children. AMVETS POST 103 Ladies Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the post home. Members are to bring items for the Thanksgiving basket. Dues of $14 must be paid before Dec. 31. The Amvets Christmas party will be held on Dec. 10 starting at 5 p.m. Reservations must be made by Dec. 3.
