FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, Fayette City, will hold an Election Day soup, sandwich and bake sale on Tuesday starting at 11 a.m. Take-outs will be available by calling 724-326-8881. FAYETTE/GREENE CHAPTER of the Pennsylvania Prison Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Janet’s Diner, Route 21, Masontown. The society is an advocacy group whose main function is to be official visitors to inmates in state and local prisons. NEW BEGINNINGS GASTRIC BYPASS SUPPORT GROUP will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Tara Hospital of Brownsville.
FAYETTE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Fayette County Health Center, 100 New Salem Road, Uniontown.
PAYNE A.M.E. CHURCH, 812 W. Crawford Ave., Connellsville, will hold its annual Election Day dinner on Tuesday. Take-out orders will also be available. Meals are $6 each.
CARMICHAELS UNITED METHODIST WOMEN will serve a hot turkey sandwich meal on Election Day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the church fellowship hall, West South Street. Costs are $5 for adults and $3.50 for children. Carry-out orders will be available.
