Dietz-Rudnik
Michelle Lynn Rudnik and Matthew James Dietz, both of Pittsburgh were united in marriage. The Rev. Donald Breier officiated the July 30 nuptial Mass at St. Anne Catholic Church, Castle Shannon.
The bride is the daughter of Leo Rudnik Jr. of Connellsville and Deborah Rudnik of Connellsville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ranker of Connellsville and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Rudnik Sr. of Scottdale.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dietz of South Park. He is the grandson of Betty Pruss of Castle Shannon and Margaret Rinn of Towson, Md.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a strapless white satin gown adorned with Swarovski crystals.
Maid of honor was Sara Hawthorne. Bridesmaids were Laurel Poe, Nichole Madden, Sara Dietz, Emily Dietz and Alex Dietz, sisters of the bridegroom. Junior bridesmaids were Katie Ranker and Carly Cordaro, cousins of the bridegroom.
Best man was Mark Platt. Groomsmen were Michael Platt, Geno Vacca, Craig Marx, Adam Warhola and Bob Rudnik, brother of the bride.
The reception was held at The Georgetown Centre in Pleasant Hills.
The bride graduated from Connellsville Area High School and Washington and Jefferson College where she received a bachelor of arts degree in accounting. She is a student at Duquesne Law School.
The bridegroom graduated from South Park High School and Washington and Jefferson College with a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry. He is a student at Temple University School of Medicine.
The couple honeymooned in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. They are residing in Pittsburgh.
