Gasper-O’Brien
Shelley O’Brien and Joseph Gasper were united in marriage on June 25. The Rev. Roger Yeager officiated the service at the Cove Run Free Methodist Church, Lemont Furnace.
The bride is the daughter of Edward and Peggy O’Brien of Markelysburg. The bridegroom is the son of Joseph and Mary Gasper.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white satin sleeveless gown with cutout back and adorned with a long beaded train. A crystal tiara held a veil of illusion.
Matron of honor was Robin Soost, the bride’s sister. Maid of honor was Melanie Mitchell. The bridesmaids were Amber Collins and Courtney Hixson. Flower girl was Karly Silbaugh.
Groomsmen were Will Richardson, Tim Brashear, Eric Floyd and Eric Gasper. Ring bearer was Scottie Black.
A reception was held at the Polish Club in Uniontown.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Uniontown Area High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Career Training Academy in Pittsburgh. She is employed at Columbia Gas in Smithfield.
The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Uniontown Area High School. He is employed at National Plymers Inc. in Charleroi.
The couple honeymooned at Virginia Beach, Va.
They are residing in Uniontown.
