Earl W. Deaton
Earl W. Deaton, age 76, of Uniontown, Pa., died Friday, November 4, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born on January 10, 1929, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, the son of Earl M. Deaton and Irene (Tuttle) Deaton.
Earl was a member of the General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 in Hopwood, Pa., The Stephen Bayard Masonic Lodge No. 526 in Elizabeth, Pa., the Fayette County Horseman’s Association and the Hoof Beats Program.
His parents and his first wife, Christine (James) Deaton, preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Irene Vensko-Deaton; his children: Sharon Robinson, Deborah Deaton and husband, Dr. Stanley Crossland, Michelle Sholtis and husband, Sean, and Jackie Lynch and husband, David; five grandchildren: Jessica Deaton, Laura Deaton, David Robinson, Rachel Robinson and Kelly Robinson; three great grandchildren; one brother, Daniel Deaton and wife, Lois; and two nephews: David Deaton and Daniel Deaton; and his Welsh Corgie Companion, Sluggie.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC. AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS CEMETERY, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Visitation will continue on Tuesday, November 8, in the CHERRY TREE ALLIANCE CHURCH, 640 Cherry Tree Lane, Uniontown, Pa., from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Jack Herman officiating.
Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth, Pa.
