Kenneth F. Whoolery
Kenneth F. “Tot” Whoolery, age 85, of Fairchance, Pa., died Saturday, November 5, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown Pa. He was born July 4, 1920, in Jimtown, Fairchance, Pa., son of Mack Whoolery and Edna Swaney Whoolery.
“Tot” was a foreman for Duquesne Light Company’s Warwick Mine for 20 years until his retirement.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Uniontown (Pa.) for 58 years.
“Tot” was predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Clyde Whoolery and Larry Whoolery, and his sister, Jean Whoolery Fowler.
Surviving are: his wife of 64 years, Harriet Stickovitch Whoolery; his daughters: Connie Miklusek and her husband John, York, Pa., Jean Whoolery, Penhook, Virginia, and Marcia Coglietti and her husband Rocky, Huntington Beach, California; his son, Thomas Whoolery and his wife Jean, Washington, Pa.; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five great grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; brothers: Bruce Whoolery and his wife Rose, Uniontown, Pa., Bob Whoolery, Smithfield, Pa., and Jim Whoolery and his wife Joan, Massanutten, Virginia; sisters: Dorothy Heinzleman, Cleveland, Ohio, and Shirley Tringes, Uniontown, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Services will begin at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Paul K. Lesher officiating.
Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
