Letters of thanks to military sought
Local residents are being invited to write letters of thanks to loved ones in the military. The letters will be printed in the Herald-Standard’s Thanksgiving edition. The letters must be less than 200 words. They must be submitted by Nov. 15. Letters can either be sent to the Herald-Standard, 8-18 Church St., Uniontown, Pa., 15401, faxed to 724-439-7559 in care of Melissa Schofield or e-mailed to mschofield@heraldstandard.com. Photos can be submitted with the letters. They should be identified on the back, and they will not be returned. The letters will take the place of the “Why I’m Thankful’ letters, which have been published on in the Herald-Standard’s Thanksgiving Day newspaper. For more information, phone 724-439-7575.
