Stephen P. Courson

Stephen P. Courson, age 50, of 119 Herb Hollow Road, Farmington, Pa., a seven year-veteran of the Pittsburgh Steelers, author of the book “False Glory”, who graduated from Gettysburg High School and the University of South Carolina, and was born in Philadelphia, Pa., died Thursday, November 10, 2005, at his home. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Ervin Courson of Gettysburg, Pa.; and a brother, Bruce A. Courson of Nantucket, Massachusetts.

The family will receive friends at St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York Street, Gettysburg, Pa., on Tuesday, November 15, from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Arrangements are being handled by the Monahan Funeral Home Inc., 125 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg, Pa.
