Anna Mae Timocko Shook
Anna Mae Timocko Shook, age 89, of 130 Sangston Avenue, Masontown, Pa., died at 6:40 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2005, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. She was born December 25, 1915, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the daughter of Michael Timocko and Mary (Kusnir) Timocko.
Anna Mae worked as a clerk at the now former G. C. Murphy Store on Main Street in Uniontown, Pa.
She was a member of the Masontown United Methodist Church.
On November 15, 1948, she married Robert Bell Shook. Together they had celebrated 40 years of marriage until his death on April 17, 1988.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Shook Johnston and her husband, Harry Johnston, of Belle Vernon, Pa.; a son, Gary Shook and his wife, Terri, of Marion, Ohio; four grandsons: Mac Johnston and his wife Joelle, Richard Johnston, Robert Johnston and Eric Shook and his wife Cheryl; one granddaughter, Kelli Colby and husband, Jason; one great grandson, Jacob Colby; and one great granddaughter, Kacin Leanna Colby.
Friends are invited to call at the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church at 7 River Avenue, Masontown, Pa., this evening from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, November 15, until 10:30 a.m. when services will begin in the funeral home.
Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the MASONTOWN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, corner of South Main and Cross streets, Masontown, with the Reverend Bob Lewis officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
