Betty Jean Furlong
Betty Jean Furlong, 80, of Brownsville, Pa., died Monday, November 14, 2005, at her daughter’s home surrounded by family. She was born on March 12, 1925, in Brownsville, Pa., daughter of the late William and Ethel Penn Harrison.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Furlong and a brother, William Harrison.
Surviving are two children: LuAnn Hill and husband, Fred of McKeesport, Pa. and Vaughn Furlong and wife, Kathy of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren: Beth Quinn, Fred and Scott Hill, David and Dana Furlong; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Ann Lehman of Akron, Ohio; and a brother, Donald Harrison of New Jersey.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2005, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Paul E. Wilson, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
