Fire damages mobile home

1 min read

A firefighter shovels debris after a furnace malfunction sparked a fire that heavily damaged a mobile home at 731 Leckrone Highhouse Road just before noon Wednesday. McClellandtown Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jim Huhn said homeowner Brenda Cuppett was not home when the fire started. No one was injured, but the owner’s dog died, Huhn said. Huhn said a state police fire marshal responded and determined the cause of the fire to be accidental.
