Dr. Amnuay Komalahiranya Hiranya, 70, of California, Pa., died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 16, 2005. He was born March 23, 1935, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Dr. Hiranya completed his postgraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania in 1963. He and his family moved to California, Pa., in 1974. He was Board certified as an OB/GYN in 1976, and became a fellow Obstetrician and Gynecologist in 1977. Dr. Hiranya worked out of the Brownsville and Mon Valley Hospitals and had his office in Charleroi, Pa. He retired in 2000.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dr. Usa Komalahiranya, and three children; a son, Sky Komalahiranya of Belle Vernon, Pa., daughters and sons-in-law, Pari and Ken Scroggin of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Nancy and David Graff of Baltimore, Md., and a brother and a sister, who both live in Bangkok, Thailand. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Cassidy and Kenny Scroggin, and Zo? and Nathan Graff.

Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., today from 4 to 8 pm.

Funeral Services will be held in the Wat Thai Temple in Silver Springs, Md.
