Ray Smith “Curly” Moredock, age 92, of Jefferson, Pa., owner and operator of Curly’s Service Station in Khedive from 1934 until 1992, custodian at the now former Gallatin Bank in Jefferson (20 years) and 1933 graduate of the now former Cumberland Township High School, died Friday, November 18, 2005, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.

He is survived by his wife, Ila Christopher Moredock, whom he married July 18, 1948; daughters: Sharon and her husband, Gary Sitter, of Erie, Pa., and Christine and her husband, Greg Ferencak, of Jefferson; grandchildren: Christy Marie Sitter, Jennifer Ann Sitter, Matthew Gregory Ferencak and Lisa Renee Ferencak; and sister, Mary Moredock DeBolt of Masontown, Pa.

Friends will be received at the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Pa., Gregory P. Rohanna, Supervisor, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, November 23, until 10:15 a.m.
