Woman arrested State police said Sylvia Switch, 24, of McClellandtown was arrested for driving under the influence and other charges after she failed to negotiate a turn onto the Route 21 ramp off Route 119, causing her vehicle to hit a road sign before coming to a stop in a ditch beside the ramp Sunday at 12:25 a.m.

Gun stolen
State police said someone stole a silver Bryco handgun from the unlocked truck of Larry Lee Fields Jr. sometime between 2:30 p.m. Nov. 16 and 2:50 p.m. Friday while the vehicle was parked along Thanksgiving Street. Anyone with information is asked to call the Uniontown state police barracks at 724-439-7111.

Window shattered
Someone threw an object through the rear window of the Menallen Township Municipal Building, located at 427 Searight Ave., sometime between 7:30 and 8:53 p.m. Friday, shattering the glass pane, state police said.

Items stolen
Justin Matthew Thomas, 24, told state police someone entered his unlocked vehicle while it was parked at 520 W. Main St. and stole his wallet, a stereo and numerous cards sometime between 2:30 and 10:55 p.m. Thursday. Police said the items were valued at $265.

Man followed
Dewitt Clemmons of 38 E. Highland Ave. told city police an unidentified man was following and harassing him Saturday at 5:26 p.m. He also told police he was hearing things at his house again.

Television stolen
Robert Crable of Uniontown told city police someone stole a television, valued at $200, out of his 94 Walnut St. residence. Police said other items have recently been stolen from Crable’s house, and Crable told police he may know is taking the items.

Woman assaulted
Patricia Shaw of 314 Pittsburgh St. told city police Saturday at 8 p.m. that a man known to her grabbed her around the neck during a physical altercation earlier that day along Dunlap Street.
Police said that light red marks were visible on Shaw’s neck.

City police said Kevin Custer, 20, of 386 Stouffer Hill Road, Friedens, was cited for public drunkenness and underage drinking after police located Custer on Morgantown Street at 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

City police said a known individual allegedly hit a 15-year-old Uniontown boy on the back of the head with what the boy thought was a black and silver handgun during an incident on Lawn Avenue Saturday at 8:19 p.m.

City police said Dwight Koon of 5208 National Pike, Grindstone, was cited for reckless driving after officers observed Koon almost hit another vehicle while attempting to turn onto Pennsylvania Avenue from Fayette Street at 12:04 a.m. Sunday.
