Wanda N. Flick Broadwater, R.N.
Wanda N. Flick Broadwater, R.N., age 80, of Penncraft, Pa., and formerly of Isabella, Pa., passed away Sunday, November 27, 2005, in Tara Hospital at Brownsville, Pa. She was born October 8, 1925, in St. Paul, Virginia, a daughter of Chester L. Flick and Thelma Kiser Flick.
Wanda was a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church and had graduated from Brownsville Area High School, the Fayette County Licensed Practical Nursing School and the Washington (Pa.) Hospital School of Nursing.
She was a retired Registered Nurse from Brownsville General Hospital where she had worked for many years in the Emergency Room and the Recovery Room.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Broadwater, in 1983 and her parents.
Surviving are sons: Donald W. Broadwater and wife, Janet, of East Millsboro, Pa., and Master Sergeant (Retired) Thomas Broadwater of Penncraft, Pa.; daughters: Melody Kopacka and husband, George, of New Salem, Pa., and Andrea Shaw and husband, Francis, of Penncraft, Pa.; nine Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; sisters: Leeta Philips and husband, Harry, of Smock R.D., Pa., and Mary Lee Mattie of Smock, Pa.; and a brother, Joseph Flick and wife, Nancy, of Smock, Pa.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., Legion Street, Republic, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, November 30, until 1 p.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Gail E. Mason officiating.
Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
