Margie A. McCallum, 84, of Brownsville, Pa., died Monday, November 28, 2005, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 15, 1921, in West Brownsville, Pa., the daughter of the late Henry and Margaret Varner Johns.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald R. McCallum; three children: Brenda Beatty and husband, Gordon, Jr. of Denver, Colo., Dave Barcus and wife, Janet of Dunlevy, Pa. and Danny Barcus of Brownsville; six grandchildren: Gordon Beatty III, Lisa Beatty, Joe Geyer, Jr., Michael Barcus and Andrew Barcus and Sam Strickland; a great-grandson, Cameron Geyer; two sisters: Alda Merrill of Oregon and Marcella Sargent of Richeyville.

She was predeceased by six brothers and five sisters.

Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today fro 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2005, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Min officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
