Mary Alberta Davis
Mary Alberta Davis was born in Blythwood, South Carolina, on May 20, 1905. Miss Mary was a woman of heart! She never remained selfish or greedy. She always strived to put others before herself and never failed at making people happy.
She roughly made it through 100 precious years of ups and downs, which made her very strong at heart and extremely intelligent.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Murth Davis, her two children, Catherine and Eloise, and her two sons-in-law, Elijah Jones and Nathaniel Lawson.
Mary has four children: Willia Mae Jones of Edenborn, Pa., Betty Lawson of Leckrone, Pa., Mary Ann Williams of Edenborn and Dorval Davis of Edenborn; a son-in-law, Dale Williams; and a daughter-in-law, Sharon Davis. Mary also has twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends as well.
Mary Alberta Davis has a special place in all of our hearts and always will be dearly missed by each and every one of us!
Friends will be received in the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., on Wednesday, October 5, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Dale Redick officiating.
Interment will follow in Greendale Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.
