Mabel Catherine (Giles) Sanner, 71, of Connellsville, Pa., died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at her residence. Besides working as a loving homemaker, Mabel was formerly employed by Connellsville Sportswear, Anchor Hocking Glass Company, and Bud Murphy’s Restaurant.

She is survived by seven children, Kenneth Sanner and wife, Robin of Dawson, Chuck Sanner and wife, Roxanne of Owensdale, Elma Pavelek and husband, Machan of Butler, Arthur Sanner Jr., and wife, Ruby of Connellsville, Mary Jeffers and companion, Kevin Black of Connellsville, Laverne Parsons and husband, David of Grovetown, Ga., and Olive Bigley and husband, Joel of Dunbar; two brothers, James and Paul Giles, both of Indiana; two sisters, Minnie Bryner and Dorothy Hall, both of Virginia; 30 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received today from 5 to 9 p.m., and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home Inc., 418 North Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m.
