Ralph L. Waltz, 78, of California, Pa., died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005. He was born June 16, 1927, in Pittsburgh, Pa., a son of the late Lora and Odessa (True) Waltz.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Ann (McMasters) Waltz on Aug. 15, 1989, two brothers, Eugene and Raymond Waltz, and one sister, Josephine Zanardelli.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Kevin Waltz and his wife, Becky of Roscoe, Pa.; a brother, Orville Waltz of Edinburgh, Ind.; two sisters, Virginia Laktash of Roscoe, Pa., and Ruth Percel of Shelbyville, Ind.; two grandchildren, Rachel and Laura Anderson; and one great-granddaughter, Jordyn Cruse.

Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC. Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, from 7 to 9 p.m., and until 11 a.m., on Friday, where services will be held in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Howe Cemetery.
