Vilma J. (Zahand) Dowler
Vilma J. (Zahand) Dowler, 68, formerly of California, Pa., died Sunday, October 2, 2005, in Mesa, Ariz. She was born July 1, 1937, in California, Pa., daughter of the late Albert and Olive (Catinetti) Zahand.
Her husband John Dowler preceded Vilma in death.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, David and Daniel Dowler and granddaughters, Heather and Rebecca all of Gilbert, Ariz.; and two brothers, Donald and Dale Zahand of California, Pa.
Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., on Friday, October 7, 2005, from 6 to 8, and until 9:00 am on Saturday, when funeral services will be held in the funeral home, with Rev. Jana Quisenberry officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
