Olga Rohulich Brozik
Olga Rohulich Brozik, 81, of Bobtown, Pa., died peacefully Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, at her home. Born Feb. 2, 1924 in Pursglove, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late John and Julia Vorozilzhak Rohulich.
A 1942 graduate of Point Marion High School, Olga also attended Waynesburg College. She was a member of the former St. Nicholas Byzantine Church in Newtown, served on the Board of Directors for East Dunkard Water Association for 27 years, and was elected as the Democratic Committee Woman in Dunkard Township for 20 years. She retired as an Inspector for the Department of Labor and Industry for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Surviving are her two children, Nancy Mitchell of Morgantown, and Mark Brozik and his wife, Cindy of Fredericktown, Pa.; two grandchildren, Alexandra and Ryan Mitchell; and a sister, Mrs. Frank (Julia) Wozniak of Bobtown.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George Brozik on Sept. 18, 1981, two sons, Timothy and George in infancy, two brothers, John and Charles Rohulich; and two sisters, Susan Reynolds and Veronica Rohulich.
Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion today from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday until 9:15 a.m., with Funeral Services to follow in St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Sabraton, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Kevin E. Marks officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion. Parastas will be held on Sunday at 3:30 p.m., in the funeral home.
