CALVARY UNITED METHODIST WOMEN will meet Tuesday for a progressive dinner at 6:30 p.m. The Connellsville District mission Team will present a program on public school education. Silent auction of craft items will be held. NEWELL UNITED METH-ODIST CHURCH will hold a soup, sandwich and bake sale from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

JO KRIZ CIRCLE will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday Helen Grubb will give the program, “Thank Offering, 136 years in mission – Then and Now.’

BELL TELEPHONE GIRLS will meet for luncheon at 1 p.m. Monday at the Italian Oven.

CATHOLIC WAR VETERANS AUXILIARY, Post 1669, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the post home. The Pittsburgh bus trip plans will be finalized. November tickets will be distributed and dues collected.

CALVARY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, route 857, Darnell Hollow, Morgantown, will hold a rummage sale Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

NORTH UNION VFW POST 8543 Ladies Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Members are to bring items for goodie packages to be sent to the troops.

UNIONTOWN CHRISTIAN WOMEN’S CLUB will hold a luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Uniontown Country Club. Reservations are necessary by calling 724-438-2350 or 724-438-7723 or e-mail to cwomensclub@yahoo.com by Monday. Babysitting will be available.

VALLEY CHORDSMEN will be in concert at 7 p.m. today at South Brownsville United Methodist Church, 412 Second St., Brownsville.

CALVARY MONDAY NIGHT GROUP OF AA meets at the Calvary Methodist Church, Clark Street, Uniontown, on Mondays at 8:30 p.m. Speaker meeting is held the third Monday of each month.

HOPE IS ALIVE GROUP OF AA meets at the Tradition One Club, Colonial Plaza, Connellsville Street, Uniontown, at 8 p.m. Mondays.

H.O.W. GROUP OF AA meets at the Tradition One Club, Colonial Plaza, Connellsville Street, Uniontown, at noon on Wednesdays.

We Can Group of AA meets at the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Parish House, 60 Morgantown St., Uniontown, at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Connellsville Thursday Noon Group of AA meets at the Connellsville Christian Church, 212 Pittsburgh St.
