Francis R. Bognar
Francis R. Bognar, age 71, of Brownsville, Pa., died Saturday, October 8, 2005, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born on January 9, 1934, in Brownsville, Pa., son of Cyril and Mary Bognar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Cyril and Steve Bognar, and sisters, Veronica Bognar Glad and Marion Bognar.
He is survived by his Wife, Clara J. Sarkett Bognar; three Children: Jeffery Bognar and wife Diane, Ashburn, Virginia, Scott Bognar and wife Christy, North Huntington, Pa., and Brad Bognar and wife Nancy, Plum, Pa.; three Grandchildren: George Bognar, Juliana Bognar and Elyssa Bognar; and two Sisters: Rose Marie Markonic of Brownsville, Pa., and Barbara Zivkovich of Rossalyn Farms, Pa.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, October 11, at 9:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in The Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville, Pa., with the Rev. Father Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
The Parish Rosary will be recited in the funeral home today at 3 p.m.
