Janet Elizabeth Willard Cunningham, R.N.
Janet Elizabeth Willard Cunningham, R.N., age 66, of Uniontown, Pa., died peacefully at her residence on Sunday, October 9, 2005. She was born September 12, 1939, in Brownsville, Pa., a daughter of Maria Kovalic Willard of Uniontown, Pa., and the now late Joseph Willard.
Mrs. Cunningham was a Registered Nurse who worked at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., Uniontown Hospital, LaFayette Manor and Beverly Healthcare during her career.
She was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, the Adrian Bible Class, and the Great Meadows Garden Club and participated in many activities for the benefit of cancer research.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her loving husband, James Cunningham; three children: James Joseph Cunningham and his wife, Robin, of Columbia, South Carolina, Jamie Sapanara Williamson and her husband, Richard “Rick” Williamson, of Ellicott City, Maryland, and Joani Buttermore and her husband, Robert “Bobby” Buttermore, of Boothwyn, Pa.; six grandchildren: Joseph, Jillian, Richard, Ryan, Jacob and Jenna; and a sister, Jackie Thomas and her husband, Joseph, of Brownville, Pa.
Funeral arrangements are under direction of the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., and will be announced.
