1 min read

The supervisors of Franklin Township, Greene County, Monday approved a $105,610 payment for 13,000 feet of pipeline that DT Construction of Fayette County has in place for a Route 218 south waterline project, according to Supervisor Reed Kiger. Construction should begin the last week of October. The project will provide city water to 33 homes along the route in south Franklin Township. Kiger said the project is important to provide residents currently using well water or spring water with public water. The project will be funded through an over $300,000 grant through the state Department of Community and Economic Development.
