Melzia Mae Zwolenik, 81, of Vanderbilt, Pa., passed away Sunday, October 9, 2005. She was born on September 4, 1924, in Perryopolis, Pa., the daughter of the late Homer and Helen Keffer Adams.

She is survived by the following children: Charles (Butch) Zwolenik and wife, Nancy of Flatwoods, Stella Stewart and Michael Valentine of Vanderbilt, Sharon Hall of Flatwoods, Cindy Brozik and husband, Mark of Millsboro, Pa., Jack Zwolenik and wife, Janice of Flatwoods; a special cousin, Wanda Schimmel of Waltersburg, Pa.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Livingston of Layton, Pa. and a sister-in-law, Kate Adams of Layton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Bud) Zwolenik, Sr., a daughter, Jacquelyn Sue Zolenik, an infant son, John Edward Zwolenik, a brother, James Henry Adams and a sister, Dolores Baccino.

Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 106 East Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday until 11 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Michael Truszkowski officiating. Interment will be in the Bowman-Flatwoods Cemetery, Rd 1, Vanderbilt, Pa.
