Charles F. Acklin, 74, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Sunday evening, October 9, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. The family did received friends in the JOHN F. BROWNFIELD FUNERAL HOME OF SMITHFIELD, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held today at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m., in Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, Pa., with the Rev. Father Kenneth Zaccagnini as Celebrant.

Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Therese Church or to The Alzheimer’s Association.
