Gladys Moorhouse
Gladys Moorhouse, 96, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2005, in the King’s Personal Care Home, Hopwood. She was born Jan. 18, 1909, in Wilkes Barre, Pa., the daughter of the now late Fred Goddard and Marie Lagdon.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Fred E. (Fritz) Moorhouse, a brother, Fred Goddard Jr., and two sisters, Mytle Petri and Connie Mould also preceded her in death.
Gladys was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, Golden Agers and the Uniontown Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are a sister, Eva Goddard Piazza; two nephews, Donald Nixon of Clearwater, Fla., and James Moorhouse of Pittsburgh; and a niece, Anna Bell Kocan of Scottdale..
