Mary L. “Marietta” Ewart, 78, of Denbo, Pa., died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, in Adams Personal Care Home following a lengthy illness, with her family by her side. She was born May 24, 1927, in Jefferson Township, Greene County, Pa., a daughter of the late Louis and Maria L. Neroni Cerbara.

Mrs. Ewart was a graduate of the Class of 1945, from Centerville High School.

Mrs. Ewart was a beloved mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are three daughters, Adriana Kurjanowicz and her husband, Bernie of Richeyville, Pa., Helene Simone of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Laurie Weldon and her husband, Tim of San Diego, Calif.; and four grandchildren, Brandon and Lesley Kurjanowicz an Nicholas and Christian Simone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Ewart, who died Jan. 13, 1996; a son-in-law, Frank A. Simone, who died Oct. 18, 1997; a sister, Angeline Grishkin; and a brother, Mario..
