Clara M. Johnson, 65, of Smock, Pa., passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, in Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Nov. 26, 1939, in Keisterville, daughter of the late Earl and Susie Holland.

Clara was a member of New Life Free Methodist Church of Smock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Edna Finfrock, Ede Warnick, Betty Gordon and Prude Kranik, and her brothers, Bert Holland and John Holland.

She is survived by her husband, Richard “Buck” Johnson of Smock; her two sons, Richard Johnson and his wife, Kimberly of Smock, and Keith Johnson, serving with the U.S. Air Force, and his wife, Danielle of Langley Air Force Base, Virginia; five grandchildren; her sister, Shirley Rockwell of Smock; and her brother, Alfred Holland and his wife, Diane, of The Bronx, New York.

Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005, until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Pastor Dean Griffiths officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Smock.
