George L. Melassanos, 67, of Feasterville, formerly of Connellsville, Pa., died October 1, 2005. George was a graduated from Connellsville Area High School class of 1957.

He is survived by brothers: John of Karpathos, and Nicholas of Athens, Greece and his cousin, Fotenie Mongell of Connellsville, Pa.

The funeral service was held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 7921 Old York Road, Philadelphia, Pa.
