A blood drive will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Fairchance Fire Hall. Fairchance, Hopwood, Smithfield fire departments, and the Amvets Post 103 Ladies Auxiliary are sponsoring the American Red Cross event. FROGGY radio will be on hand, sponsored by the Fairchance Firemen’s Ambulance Squad.
