Earl T. Keffer
Earl T. Keffer, age 62, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Thursday evening, October 13, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa.
Born April 4, 1943, in Uniontown, Pa., he was the son of Clarence Keffer and Rose Hornsby Keffer. Earl was a self-employed electrician and a Veteran who served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Marilyn Lee Keffer, his brother, David Keffer, and his sister, Connie Keffer David.
He is survived by his loving children: Georgette Trocheck of Texas, Richard Mitchell and his wife, Cindy, of Brownsville, Pa., John Mitchell and his wife, Patty, of Fairchance, Pa., Marge Matthews of California, Pa., Dave Mitchell and his wife, Evelyn, of Uniontown, Pa., James Mitchell and his wife, Renee, of Hopwood, Pa., Randy Mitchell and his wife, Annie, of Uniontown, Earl Thomas Keffer of Uniontown, Mark Keffer of Uniontown, Bethanne Batovsky of New Salem, Pa., Mike Keffer and his wife, Ann Louise, of Harrisburg, Pa., and Gerald Keffer and his wife, Christine, of Harrisburg, Pa.; grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose Troycheck and her husband, Martin, of Fairchance, Pa.; a brother, Clarence Keffer III of Revere, Pa.; his half-sister, Sarah Hughes; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday morning, October 18, until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa., where Military Honors will be accorded by Uniontown American Legion Post 51 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8543.
Visitation was also held Sunday, October 16, from 7 to 9 p.m.
