Donald B. Christopher
Donald B. Christopher, 61, of Greensburg, Pa., died Sunday, October 16, 2005, in his home. Mr. Christopher was born July 2, 1944 in Uniontown, Pa., son of Delbert L. and Marie V. Christopher.
He was a retired Pennsylvania State Police Officer, Troop A. Greensburg, Pa.
He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting trap.
He was a member of the Sheffield Rod and Gun Club, Youngwood Sportsman Club and various other trap leagues.
As a young boy, he attained the honor of Eagle Scout.
He attended West Virginia University and then served his country as a Pennsylvania National Guardsman.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie V. Christopher and his brother, Delbert L. Christopher, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Corliss (Allamon) Christopher; two daughters: Dawn, wife of David Cavic of Lebanon, Pa. and Denise, wife of Scott Puskaric of North Huntingdon, Pa.; two grandsons: Alexander Puskaric and Nathaniel Cavic; and his father, Delbert L. Christopher of Smithfield, Pa.
Family and friends will be received in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg, Pa., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 10 a.m. with interment to follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fairchance, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial donations to either the Southwestern Pennsylvania Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
