Mary Louise (Cowell) McMahon, age 85, of Ronco, Pa., died Wednesday, October 12, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. She was born December 22, 1919, in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of Leasure Cowell and Lela (Cowell) Cowell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Sandra Kelly, two sisters, Ruth Lynch and Phyllis Russell, three brothers-in-law, Jim Lynch, Don Russell and Frank Brozik, and a grandson, Jeff Ringling.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Peter J. McMahon Sr.; three children: Candace Anderson of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Peter J. McMahon Jr. and his wife, Lori, of Northport, Florida, and John B. McMahon and his wife, Cheryl, of Ronco, Pa.; a son-in-law, Fred Kelly of Greensburg, Pa.; two sisters: Kathryn Brozik of Gainesville, Florida, and Lucy Ingram and her husband, Richard, of McMurray, Pa.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the BERNARD M. TOWNSEND FUNERAL HOME, 220 South Main Street, Masontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 19, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown, with the Rev. Father James F. Bump as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Wolf Cemetery, Dilliner, Pa.

Visitation was also held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
