Harold H. Harper
Harold H. “Heck” Harper, 71, of Morgantown, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born May 12, 1934, in Uniontown, Pa., a son of the late Harold N. and Helen Heckerman Harper.
He was a graduate of the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy, where he received a BS and Masters Degree in Pharmacy administration. From 1961 until his retirement in 1999, he was employed with the WVU Health Science Center.
Heck was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity, Joseph W. Summers Lodge No. 173, Scottish Rite 32nd Degree, Knights Templar, Taylor County Clowns, Mountaineer Patrol and Osiris Shrine of Wheeling.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Harper; two sons and spouses, Scott N. and Anne Marie of Morgantown, and Robert G. and Cynthia of Lexington, S.C.; grandchildren, Ellyn and James of Morgantown, Robert Jr., and Martha and Rhianna of South Carolina.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nan Gault Harper and an infant child.
Cremation Services provided by HASTINGS FUNERAL HOME of Morgantown, W.Va. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date..
