Stephen D. Semonick
Stephen D. Semonick, 79, of Wickliffe, Ohio, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005, in Hospice House of Cleveland, Ohio. He was born March 11, 1926, in Tower Hill, Pa., a son of the late John and Julia Riggen Semonick.
Stephen was a retired machinist from Viking Brass, and also University Circle Inc., both of Cleveland.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of the Republic American Legion Post 590, and the Uniontown VFW Post 47.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Julia Bolas, and brothers, Michael, John, Adam and George Semonick.
Surviving are his wife, Elda (Camilli) Semoncik; a daughter, Stephany Feathers and her husband, Gregory of Kirkland, Ohio; granddaughters, Cecily and Julia; a sister, Anna Dorsey of Republic, Pa.; and brothers, Pete Semonick of Redford, Mich. And Joseph Semonick of Troy, Mich.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., Legion Street, Republic, Pa., today until 9:30 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held. A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m., in Holy Rosary Church, with the Rev. Fr. James Clark as Celebrant. Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa., where Military Rites will be accorded by the Uniontown VFW Post 47. A Parish Wake Service was held on Wednesday at 2:45 p.m. Visitation was also held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
