Watson on burglary charges for allegedly entering two Greene County residences and removing several items belonging to the homeowners late Tuesday morning, state police said.
Police located the men after the son of a homeowner whose residence the three attempted to burglarize confronted the thieves who then departed, allowing the resident’s son to contact police and provide a license plate number, a vehicle description and a description of the actors.
The men allegedly stole items from 324 Ankrom Road in Jefferson by entering the residence through an unlocked door and then drove to 320 Gorden Hill Road in Franklin Township where they once again entered through an unlocked door and began to remove several items from the home and garage before the homeowner’s son arrived home and confronted them, according to police.

The trooper followed the vehicle until it stopped at a residence in Lone Pine and troopers from Washington and Waynesburg arrived on scene, said police.
