Laura E. Milbert
Laura E. Nelson Milbert, 86, of California, Pa., died Monday, October 17, 2005. She was born August 4, 1919, in Starford, Pa., a daughter of James and Anna Laura Brennen Nelson.
Mrs. Milbert was retired as a housekeeper at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in California, Pa., where she had been employed for 20 years.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for both the John F. Kennedy American Legion and the Italian Club, both of California, Pa.
Her husband, Charles George Milbert, a son, Charles James Milbert, five brothers and four sisters, preceded Laura in death.
Left to cherish her memory are three children: Billie Jean Barber and husband, Frank of Roscoe, Pa., Gary Milbert and wife, Joan of Avenel, N.J. and Cheryl Grago of California; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Milbert.
Friends were received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa. on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held today, Friday, October 21, 2005, at 10 a.m. in SAINT THOMAS AQUINAS CHURCH, California, Pa., with the Father George Moneck, as Celebrant. (EVERYONE WILL MEET AT THE CHURCH).
Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Long Branch, Pa.
