PennDOT announces schedule
The state Department of Transportation’s Fayette County Maintenance Office has announced the following tentative work plan for the week beginning Monday. – Stream channel cleaning is planned for the bridge on state Route 4008, Filbert/Orient Road.
– Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced, and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout the county.
– Patching is planned for state Route 4001, Hibbs Road; state Route 21, McClellandtown Road; and state Route 2001, Skyline Drive.
– Shoulder cutting is scheduled for the Route 119/40 Uniontown bypass, Englishman Hill Road, Breakneck Road and state Route 1050, Quail Hill Road.
– Pipe flushing is planned for state Route 4010, Herbert/Searights Road; and state Route 4006, New Salem Road.
– Base repairs are scheduled for state Route 711, Springfield Pike.
All maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting basis. Motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the usage of headlights.
