The Uniontown Public Library welcomes the popular Grandma Honeys to the next meeting of the Senior Bookworms on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the second-floor meeting rooms. Christy Fusco, head librarian, noted that anyone is welcome to attend the presentation of the Grandma Honeys, who perform throughout the area. Guests can also stay for the Senior Bookworms’ book discussion that follows.

“We’d like them to enjoy the concert and if they like, stay for the book discussion or use this as an opportunity to sign up for the next one,’ said Fusco.

This month’s discussion is of the book, “A Walk to Remember’ by Nicholas Sparks. Next month’s book is “Ahab’s Wife or The Star-Gazer’ by Cena Jeter Naslund, which will be discussed at the Nov. 15 meeting.

The November meeting will also feature an inspirational chalk drawing by Bette Morton.

The Dec. 13 meeting will highlight “A Cup of Christmas Tea’ with Barbara Shoemaker.

The Senior Bookworms was developed as a program for seniors but anyone is welcomed to participate.
