Old Trails Lions donates money for projects

Old Trails Lions Club presented a check for $1,475 to District Governor Ed Gursky of Lions District 14M of Pennsylvania. The check will be used for projects supported by the District including Pennsylvania Eye Research, Leader Dog for the Blind, Camp Beacon Lodge as well as other organizations including the Blind Association, Salvation Army, Red Cross and Boy Scouts. Taking part in the presentation are seated (from left) Gursky, and David Bruam, president of Old Trails Lions Club; standing, Robert E. Rafail, chairman of Region 4, District 14M; Virginia Higinbotham, Old Trails Lions Club secretary; Robert Sangston, past district governor; and Ed Rosso, Old Trails Lions Club treasurer. The Old Trails Club meets at 6:30 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at the Sun Porch, Hopwood. New members are being sought. For membership information, call 724-438-4800.
