Clyde E. Santee
Clyde E. Santee, 65, of Bobtown, Pa., formerly of Waynesburg, Pa., died at 4:45 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, at the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. He was born on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1940, in Waynesburg, Pa., a son of the late Howard E. Santee and Florence Louella (Whyte) Santee.
He was a Methodist by faith.
He attended Waynesburg, High School and Washington Penn Commercial Business College.
He loved hunting and fishing and belonged to Muddlety Hunting Club, Quinwood Rod and Gun Club, Wadcutters Sportsman Club, the NRA, and several other Sportsmen’s Clubs. He had worked as a meat cutter for the Mather Company Store and had also worked for Berryhills Service Station in Waynesburg, for several years. Later, he worked for Dean Phipps, Gee Bees and Hecks Department Stores in store Management.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Betty Henderson Santee, whom he married in November of 1966; his beloved son Eric Santee of Bobtown; a sister, Syble Santee Thomas of Aliquippa, Pa.; one uncle and spouse, Raymond and Kate Santee of Waynesburg, Pa.; one niece, Lynn Turner-Smith; one nephews, Sean Thomas; and several cousins and Good Friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one nephew, Charles Thomas Jr.. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director.
