Items stolen State police said someone broke into Linda Bankovick’s 216 Old Maids Lane residence sometime between 4 p.m. Oct 14 and 10 a.m. Oct. 15 and stole two televisions and a computer.

Two assaulted
State police said a 16-year-old juvenile from Ruffsdale was arrested for simple assault after he and James Hartz, also of Ruffsdale, were involved in an altercation between 4:45 and 5:30 p.m. Monday. Police said Hartz was cited for harassment.

Credit cards stolen
State police said someone stole three credit cards and cash from an undescribed vehicle parked at Jumonville sometime Thursday or Friday.

Vehicles damaged
Robin Arison of 143 Connellsville St. told city police someone broke the rear window out of her van while it was pared near her residence sometime Friday night.
In an unrelated incident, police said someone also damaged the driver side door of a vehicle belonging to Rob Fritz of 120 Evans St. sometime Friday night.

Charges pending
State police said DUI-related charges are pending against a 38-year-old Connellsville man who was involved in a two-vehicle collision Friday at 8:10 p.m. at the intersection of routes 1050 and 982. Police said the driver of the other vehicle was a 49-year-old man from Connellsville and said no one sustained injuries.

State police said charges of terroristic threats and harassment were filed against Frank Springer, 47, of Lemont Furnace after he allegedly made a threatening phone call Wednesday to Janet Seiler, 42, of Farmington.

Sticker stolen
Amanda Palo of Uniontown told city police Friday at 4:04 p.m. that the registration sticker was cut off her license plate. Police said Palo told them she suspects a man who was working on her vehicle removed the sticker.

Shawn Hodgetts of 312 W. Main St. told city police Saturday at 8:02 a.m. that someone removed a garbage can with copper in it and a hand dolly from his yard sometime within the last few weeks. The copper was valued at $100 and the dolly at $50, police said.

Kimberly Smith of 6 Nutt Ave. told city police a woman known to her allegedly knocked on Smith’s door and yelled obscenities at her, saying she would beat Smith up if she came out of her house Saturday at 1:11 p.m.

Cigarettes stolen
State police said an unidentified black woman stole two cartons of cigarettes, valued at $92.26, from the Route 40 Kwik Fill at 7:34 p.m. Oct. 9. The woman left in an older model, white Oldsmobile, police said.

State police said no one was injured when vehicles driven by 73-year-old Eugene Nelson and 49-year-old James Crider collided at the intersection of Route 119 and Moyer Road at 6:16 p.m. Monday.

State police said Eugene Grimm and Robert Grimm II were involved in an altercation on Main Street Friday at 10:10 a.m. Eugene Grimm allegedly spit in Robert Grimm’s face.
